C.B.S.E. Affiliation
The School is affiliated to the Central Board of Secondary Education, New Delhi. Accordingly it follows the scheme of studies as prescribed by C.B.S.E. and N.C.E.R.T. (National Council of Educational Research and Training), New Delhi.
It is a Co-Educational, English Medium School. All the subjects except Hindi, Sanskrit and Punjabi are taught in English medium but Hindi is given due importance as the National Language. The School provides progressive education based on the requirements of contemporary times, with emphasis on Indian thought and culture.
Tests, Examinations and Promotion Policy
The academic session is divided into three terms. Periodical assessment of a learner's performance is made by conducting Unit Tests, Quarterly, Half-yearly and Annual Examinations. The marks secured by a child in all the tests/examinations are taken into account for declaring the final result.
In order to get promotion to the higher class at the end of a session, a child must secure at least 40% marks in each subject and 40% in aggregate also.
Continuous and Comprehensive Evaluation (CCE)
Assesment of the student is based on Continous and Comprehnensive Evaluation. CCE is a process to provide holistic profile of the student through regular assesment of both scholastic and co-scholastic activities.The academic session is divided into two semesters, in which there will be two formative and one summative assessment.
Promotion of the student is based on the day to day evalvation of the student throughout the year and also on the bases of performance in the terminal examination.

House System
To enable the students to imbibe the qualities of leadership, management, maintenance of discipline and co-operation, they are divided into four houses namely Strength, Wisdom, Courage and Glory. House Meeting is held every Wednesday. Various inter-house competitions are held throughout the year to give vent to their talent and to foster the spirit of healthy competition among students.
