A cultural program was organized on the occasion of Mahatma Gandhi Jayanti in Police DAV Public School, Ambala City. In the program, children were given special information about Gandhiji. Gandhiji is affectionately called as Bapu. The children were told about the sacrifice of Gandhiji through the medium of the song 'De Di Hume Azadi'. The children were told about Gandhiji's three monkeys, who teach us not to look bad, not to listen to bad words and not to speak ill.     The school's principal, Dr. Vikas Kohli, congratulated the children on Gandhi Jayanti. He told the children how Gandhiji's sacrifice gave freedom to our India. He encouraged the children to follow the path of non-violence and truth of Gandhi and asked them to adopt Gandhiji's ideals.
