Principal's Seminar On Effective Implementation Of Training in DAV

A 2 day Orientation Programme on Effective Implementation of training in DAV Institutions for Training Coordinators, Cluster Heads and Principals was started at Police DAV Public School Ambala City on 3^rd October 2017.

The key Resource Person, Education Officer of DAV Centre of Academic Excellence, New Delhi. Mrs. Indermani Jain was given a Customary Floral Welcome by Regional Directors Mrs. Madhu Bahl , Mrs. Suman Nijhawan and Mrs. Sushma Arya.

The progamme begin on an auspicious note by lighting the E-lamp and recitation of Gayatri Mantra & DAV Gaan.

Principal of the host School Dr. Vikas Kohli welcomed the august gathering including the Education Officer of DAV Centre of Academic Excellence, Mrs. Indemani Jain, Regional Directors, Mrs. Madhu Behal , Mrs. Suman Nijhawan and Mrs. Sushma Arya , all the Cluster Heads and Principals for their graceful presence.

He expressed his gratitude to the DAV Management for giving Police DAV Public School an opportunity to host the Orientation Programme.

The Programme was introduced by Regional Director Mrs. Madhu Bahl. She said that it is the time to carry forward the rich legacy of DAV philosophy by maintaining excellence in the standard of education. Mrs. Madhu Bahl concluded by thanking Dr. Vikas kohli for the arrangements par excellence. Regional Director and Manager of the host school Mrs. Suman Nijhawan expressed her views by saying that learning is a continuous process which should go on.

Chief Resource Person Mrs. Indermani Jain begin the programme by highlighting the objectives of the Training terms.

She stressed upon the role and relevance of Continual In-service Training, Responsibilities of Training Coordinators, Cluster heads and Subject Wise training teams and the parameters of Quality assurance in Training.

Day-I programme ended on a highly positive note with all the training coordinators, Cluster Heads ,and Principals fully aware of their roles and responsibilities in Learning programmes to be conducted.

About 60 Regional Directors and Principals from various parts of Haryana, Punjab and Chandigarh attended today’s Programme. Dr. Vikas Kohli remarked that in tomorrow’s programme stress will be given on latest teaching techniques.

The second Day of the Orientation Programmne covered the Role and Responsibilities of subject-wise Training Teams and Teams of Assessors. Regional Directors Mrs. Madhu Bahl, Mrs.Suman Nijhawan and Mrs.Sushma Arya graced the occasion and gave highly valuable suggestions to be incorporated in training modules.

Key Resource Person Mrs. Indermani Jain, Education officer DAV CAE welcomed the participating teachers. She outlined the objectives and measures of Training sessions to all so that the training programme can be successfully conducted and implemented.

Master Trainers from different subjects like English, Mathematics, Science, Social Sceince, ICT and Primary and Pre-Primary classes gave a 10 minutes Presentation from one of the Teacher Training Programme they had conducted in their school.

It was a highly interactive session which included group discussions, groups presentations and PPTs. Worth sharing experiences gained during Teacher Training Programmes and the Problems faced by trainees in implementation in actual class rooms were also discussed. There was an active participation by all the Principals, Cluster Heads and Training Coordinators.

According to Dr. Vikas Kohli, Principal Police DAV Public School Ambala City about 21 Master Trainers and 55 Heads from various Schools from Haryana, Chandigarh & Punjab participated.

It was a highly fruitful session as there was a vivid clarification given by Mrs. Indermani Jain regarding the roles of every individual involved in Training Programme.

The Programme concluded with the Presentation of momentoes to each Participating Master Trainer
